Description

The Ribera Market, located on the banks of the Bilbao Estuary in the Old Town, is the largest covered market in Europe and a gastronomic landmark of the city. Built in 1929 on the site of an old open-air market, it stands out for its impressive Art Deco architecture, with large windows that flood the space with natural light.

Covering more than 10,000 m², it houses a great variety of stalls offering fresh products, from fish and seafood to high-quality meat, fruits, and vegetables. Additionally, it features a gastronomic area where visitors can enjoy pintxos and traditional dishes.
