Route
Walk along the Plentzia Estuary
Suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM)
The route begins in the square where the town hall is located and follows the promenade that runs parallel to the estuary. Along the way, we come to the iron bridge, known as the White Bridge or the Plencia Footbridge. It is a modern, avant-garde bridge, accessed via a flight of steps, but there is also a wide ramp running parallel to it, offering views of the horizontal plateaus and with handrails on both sides at two different heights. The bridge connects the Plentzia estuary with the old town. This footbridge ends in front of the Metro station, and you can continue your walk to the San Telmo neighbourhood.
From the town hall square, we continue to the tourist office and follow the walkway parallel to the estuary until we reach the marina and the bay, where there is a beach area with more waves and equipped with a bathing hut open during the summer season.
