The Orozko Ethnographic Museum, also known as Orozkoko Museoa, is located in the Casa Palacio Legorburu, an elegant 18th-century manor better known as Casa Kareaga, showcasing the architecture and lifestyle of the rural Basque nobility. It is situated in the main square of Orozko, just a few steps from the Town Hall, in the heart of the valley.
This museum is open to everyone and provides an enjoyable way to discover how our ancestors lived, their trades, traditions, and celebrations, as well as the objects and customs that shaped daily life in the region. It is a space designed to bring Basque history and culture closer in an accessible and engaging way for all visitors.
The entrance features a ramp, handrail, and automatic door, and the reception has an information desk. In addition, the museum is committed to improving the accessibility of its facilities, ensuring an inclusive and comfortable visit for all audiences.
