DOLOMITAS KARRANTZA MUSEUM

Description of the activity/company

Dolomites gives us the opportunity to go back in time to the time when the factory played a very important role for the industry of Bizkaia and to get to know the Industrial Heritage in a different way.

Throughout the visit, we will learn about the history of Dolomitas del Norte S.A. from. The visit, which lasts one hour, can be guided or free, as we have panels along the route. Likewise, we have audiovisual media and graphic material, which facilitate the assimilation of content.

The visit will take place along the different floors of the Unloading Station building of the old aerial tram, declared Protected Industrial Heritage by the Basque Government, where we will be able to appreciate the system of giant pulleys of the aerial tram.
