A Good Idea

To continue with the seafaring essence of the town, you can visit the Agurtza museum fishing boat. A boat that has been converted into a museum and interpretation centre focused on the fishing and canning of white tuna. It is the only vessel of its kind in Bizkaia.

Another amazing activity to do in Santurtzi is seeing a whale blow just a few metres away is one of the most exciting experiences that Santurtzi has to offer. This programme brings it within your grasp. Feel the thrill of dolphins swimming alongside less than 1 m from the boat, enjoy watching a family of long-finned pilot whales and the chance to sail up to a great whale and hear it blow.
