Nervión Waterfall

Located in an exceptional natural surrounding on the border between the Basque Autonomous Community and Castille and León, the Nervión Waterfall can be found quite close to Orduña, the only city in Bizkaia and classified as a Historical-Monumental site. The waterfall can be enjoyed from the lookout located on Delika canyon and offering a spectacular panorama, particularly during the rainy months, when the flow of water is higher. This area can be accessed via Puerto de Orduña to Monte Santiago, where a sign-posted route begins.

A Good Idea

Don’t forget to visit Orduña, the only population centre classified as a city in Bizkaia. It has numerous heritage buildings of great interest, and the city is classified as a Historical Monumental Site. In addition, if you are in the area around the time, don’t miss its famous “Ochomayos” festival.
