Euskal Herria Museum

The Alegria Palace, built in 1733, is now the headquarters of the Euskal Herria Museum. After being acquired by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia in 1982, it opened to the public in 1991. The exhibition helps to capture the historical-political and cultural significance of the area by collecting the different aspects of the origin, physical, political and economic environment of the Basque people, as well as its archaeology, language and culture on the four floors of the building.
