Description

The San Mamés Stadium, located in Bilbao (Bizkaia), is the home field of Athletic Club, a team with a unique philosophy and over 120 years of history.

A reference at the international level, both for its current facilities and for the history of the legendary stadium it replaced in 2013, it is known worldwide as 'The Cathedral'.

With a capacity for 53,331 spectators, it was designed according to the highest standards, derived from the Elite Category according to UEFA. Awarded as the best sports building in the world in 2015 at the World Architecture Festival and Venue of the Year 2017 at the World Football Summit.
