Description

Linear route approx. 2.2km (Outbound) of low difficulty starting in Kobaron district (for those with reduced mobility better to start here, because it’s not feasible from Pobeña due to a steep slope with stairs) and ending in Pobeña district. You can lengthen the route 3km if you continue through the green belt of Piquillo direction of Ontón.

The Green Belt of Itsaslur is the old railway track layout. The trail runs parallel to the coastline without slopes but with large bends making its route easy and comfortable.

Throughout the green belt you come across natural spaces, cultural enclaves (industrial archaeology remains) due to the mining history of the area. The gentle railway layout means you can do it comfortably without much physical effort so you can do it yourself following the signs/a map.

Route

From Kobaron parking to the Pobeña neighborhood

Suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM)

Linear itinerary of about 1.44 km (one way) of low difficulty starting in the Kobaron neighborhood, (for people with reduced mobility it is better to start from here, since it is not viable from Pobeña due to a steep slope with stairs) and final in the neighborhood of Pobeña 2.2 km (one way).

There is the option of extending it another 3km if you continue along the Piquillo greenway towards Ontón. The Itsaslur Greenway is an old railway line. The trail runs parallel to the sea coast, with no slopes and wide curves providing a degree of comfort and ease throughout its route. Along the greenway there are natural spaces, cultural enclaves (remains of industrial archeology) due to the mining history of the area. The smoothness of the railway layout allows it to be traveled without making significant physical effort, which allows it to be done in a self-guided way.
