The Bizkaia Bridge, learn about its history

This bridge is one of the most iconic monuments in Bizkaia. Constructed in 1893 by engineer Alberto de Palacio, this transporter bridge joins the towns of Portugalete and Getxo across the Estuary of Bilbao.

Don't miss the Festival of Basque culture, the Bilbao Basque FEST which returns to Bilbao from the 5 to the 9 of April, with more than 30 areas accommodating the activities in the ninth edition.
